How many sites are listed with UNESCO?

The World Heritage List currently has 1092  sites, 845 of which are cultural, 209 of which are natural, and 38 of which are mixed, across 163 member states. These listed sites are the heritage of humanity, and reflect the cultural diversity of our world and of its history. With 44 listed sites, France ranks 4th globally and 3rd in Europe on this list.
